AIBE XXII syllabus — all 19 subjects
AIBE XXII follows the same 19-subject, 100-question structure the Bar Council of India has used across recent AIBE cycles. Each subject carries a fixed number of questions — the table below is the exact weightage used to build every AIBE Pass mock test and practice set, and it adds up to 100.
Subject-wise question distribution
19 subjects, 100 questions total. Always cross-check against the official BCI notification for AIBE XXII.
What changed for AIBE XXII
Three subjects now test both the old law and its 2023 replacement: Indian Penal Code alongside the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), the Code of Criminal Procedure alongside the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and the Indian Evidence Act alongside the Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA). See the section-by-section comparison for each: IPC vs BNS, CrPC vs BNSS, Evidence Act vs BSA.
